Its here! Its here!...AND...I'm and idiot.

I got my prize from Amber's pay it forward contest today!!! Its soooooooooooo cool = ) Yael is modeling the apron she made and JD has the lunch pail of other goodies.

Here it all is minus the apron. I wore it ALL DAY. My only other apron has snowmen on it so I've been dying for something new. Amber sent each of her soaps so now I know how milled soaps are supposed to be.
I was so inspired by her soaps I made some oatmeal, milk and honey with Bramble Berry's Dark Chocolate fo. I think I'll eat this soap instead of clean with it, hehe.
I also made Amanda's base soap for the kit I'm sending her. I made a little extra to try out my new silicone flower mold.

And for the DUH moments...I realized after I made the base soap that I was going to send 2# instead of 1#. I weighed the base soap I already have and its nearly 2#. I made it 2 1/2 weeks ago and could have sent it already. DUH.

I ordered jars for additives I'm sending in the milled soap kits I'll be selling on etsy. I couldn't believe how cheap they were and was shocked when they came 2 days after I ordered them. Then I found out why they were so cheap...they don't have lids. DUH.
