Product Review!!

I've thought about doing body product reviews since soapmaking is all I really have time for and I love homemade lotions and potions. Joanna from Product Body gave me a perfect opportunity to do that when she sent me a whole bunch of goodies with the Cream I ordered. (isn't she sweet!)

There were so many extras I haven't had time to try them all, but if they're anything like what I've tried, they're fantastic.

The first thing my husband and I did was open up the jars and sniff. I don't know about you, but I find commercial products to be overpowering. Everything we tried smelled wonderful and like something I might have for breakfast. Hands down though, our favorite was the Mama Bomb Coconut Milk Bath Soak. When my husband smelled it he made the same comment I had..."I feel like I should eat this it smells so good!" To be honest, when I smelled it I dug through the fridge looking for my stash of coconut to eat = ) I have yet to use it, but if it works as good as it smells I won't be disappointed!





By far my favorite product was the Crush On You. Wow! I never thought I would get rid of my leather skin, but once in the shower was all I needed. The texture is just as the website describes and easy to use. I had no idea what to expect of the Yuzu scent...it was refreshing and invigorating and a perfect blend for starting the day. I can't say enough good things about Crush On You. My hands don't look like old lady hands anymore so this will go on my list of things to always have in stock during the winter.

As for my original purchse I decided to go with the Cream. I was torn between that and the Whipped Shea Butter, but the WSB was out of stock, so my decision was easy. I chose the Sweet Vanilla Mango which my husband said smells like a smoothie (YUM!). The only thing that concerned me about the Cream was the price. With a husband in school we have to stick to a small budget. The price of good, healthy ingredients isn't cheap so anything worth buying is often a bit pricey. My first try of the Cream I used my usual dab...not huge, but what I thought would be enough. I ended up putting lotion on up to my shoulders. A little goes a very long way, so price isn't such a big deal anymore. I bought this for the entire family to use, so now I don't have to worry about going through a jar a week.

The Cream is a light creamy (imagine that) lotion that lasts a long time. I even gave it the sweat test...I applied right before I did aerobics. It sunk in so well I didn't get slippery or have any running into my eyes. My kids love using this and it has made a huge difference for all of us.

I also used the original Mama Bomb and Sugar Foot. Both have helped get rid of my dry flaky skin and make my baby belly soft again.

Overall, I'm in love with Product Body. I've been happy with everything I tried and wouldn't hesitate to order any one of the other selections. The best part about using everything is my new skin. This has been a hard winter and our skin has paid the price. Since using Product Body, nobody has complained of dry itchy skin. Why did I wait so long to get this stuff!!!!
